MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Shorter men's lacrosse team faced off against their counterparts from the University of Montevallo on Tuesday night in a Peach Belt Conference tournament matchup, and the home Falcons were too much for their fellow avians from Rome, as the Hawks lost 24-5.
 
Shorter's Earl Marshall and Alexander Hudgins led the Hawks in scoring with two goals apiece. Teammate Jaden Sealey added a goal of his own as well. Sealey, Gunnar Uutinen and Sean Kavanaugh also had an assist each. 
 
As for Montevallo (9-7), Henry Casement scored a game-high four goals on the night, while Scott Friant, Griffin Brennan and Trevayne Hunter paced the Falcons in assists with three apiece. 
 
The Hawks finish off the 2022 season with a 3-14 overall record.
