Lady Hawks Fall to #16 Nighthawks

ROME, Ga.— The Lady Hawks hosted #16 North Georgia Nighthawks in a midweek game on Thursday.
The Nighthawks came out with the bats rolling from the start of the game and won with a final score of 9-0.
 
North Georgia improves to 31-11 and Shorter falls to 5-32.
 
The Nighthawks came out striking in the first inning by plating one run across. In the second inning
North Georgia continued the hitting rally by adding six more runs on the board.
In the bottom of the third Hannah Morales recorded the first and only hit for the Lady Hawks with a soft slap to the pitcher.
In the top of the sixth, the Nighthawks piled on two more runs.

Shorter will head to Memphis, Tennessee for a GSC series against Christian Brothers with first game on Saturday, April 9th at 2p.m.
