Hawks Unable to Contain the Flames

Box Score CLEVELAND, Tenn.-- Shorter Men's basektball team travelled to Lee University for a Gulf South Conference matchup. The Flames came out on top with a final score of 76-47. 

With the loss Shorter will fall to 4-13, 1-12 GSC while Lee improves to 12-6, 8-4 GSC.

The Hawks and Flames started out by going back and forth on scores but around the 13 minute mark in the first period, the Flames took the lead and held onto it for the remainder of the game.

Chris Brown led the Hawks with a total of 13 points and three steals, while Ralph Barnett added in 11 points. Lee's Jayce Willingham and Beyuan Hendricks recorded 13 points each. 

Shorter will return to it's home court on Saturday, February 5th as they take on University of Montevallo with tipoff slated for 4p.m.
