Shorter's Lady Hawks came up just short against Alabama Huntsville last night. Set scores from the match were 25-13, 22-25, 19-25, and 22-25. Lacee Glover had a stand out performance with 14 kills, Emma Richardson with 9, and Carrington Terrell with 6. Carrington Terrell sported 9 blocks throughout the contest, Annie Veldhuis had 5, and Katherine Patrick with 4. Annie Smith led the team with 18 assists, Taryn Cycholl following with 10, and Amelie Thro with 6 after an appearance late in the match. Libero, Madison Sprosty got 15 impressive balls up while leading in the dig stat column. Overall the Lady Hawks fought till the very end in their first and final postseason match of the year. The VolleyHawks will return in the Spring for some off-season competition.
