Hawks Fall to Chargers

 

The Shorter Hawks Women's Soccer team fell 5-0 in a heartbreaking matchup to the Chargers of the University of Alabama in Huntsville Friday at Ben Brady Field. 

 

The Chargers went to work quickly in the first 45 minutes of regulation, striking three goals to take the lead going into halftime. The Hawks came out strong in the second half, but the Chargers snuck in two more goals to seal the contest. 

 

The Hawks will return to action on Sunday, October 23, when they host the University of West Alabama Tigers for senior day at Ben Brady Field.
