Lady Hawks Clawed by Lady Lions

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga.- The Lady Hawks travelled to Franklin Springs to play Emmanuel College. The Lady Lions attack was too much for the Lady Hawks, who lost 2-0. 

Viki Lederer started the scoring for the Lady Lions in the 19th minute. Then Brianna Bishop followed up with her own goal in the 62nd minute. Emmanuel had 15 shots compared to Shorter's six.

Haley Cox led the team with two shots on goal, followed by Erin Carter who recorded one shot on goal. Emily Lopez recorded four saves in this game off of six shots on goal by the Lady Lions.

The Lady Hawks will be back in action this Saturday, September 11th at Ben Brady against Georgia Southwestern State University at 2 pm.
