CLINTON, Miss. - The Shorter Hawks men's soccer team fell 4-0 Sunday afternoon to Mississippi College in Gulf South Conference play. 

The Hawks conceded two first half goals and an early 2nd half goal to help the Choctaws (3-4) en route to the 4 goal shutout.  

Marcus Pitter had the lone shot on goal as the blue and grey could not muster much of an attack.  

On Friday, Delta State rallied to a 5-1 win over SU who fall to 2-5 on the season. Junior Bailey Lopez scored on a penalty kick for the Hawks to avoid the shut out. 

The Hawks now have a 10 day hiatus before traveling to Americus,GA on October 7 to face Georgia Southwestern University.
