CLEVELAND, Miss.- The Lady Hawks traveled to Mississippi for a matchup against the Lady Statesmen of Delta State. The Lady Statesmen's offense was on fire as they went on to score six goals in this game compared to the Lady Hawks one goal.

The Lady Statesmen scored in the first minute of the game with a goal from Jae'lasha Julien who also scored the second goal in the 17^th minute. Mia Ramirez scored the next two goals in the 31^st and 38^th minutes. Mackenzie Thompson scored the next goal in the 45^th minute. Mathilde Skovbakke scored the final goal for the Lady Statesmen in the 68^th minute. Danielle Forsythe scored the lone goal for the Lady Hawks in the 81^st minute.

All three of Shorter's shot were on goal. Bailey Bergman, Juliana Torres, and Danielle Forsythe all recorded one shot during the game. Emily Lopez was back in goal for this game and recorded six saves.

The Lady Hawks will be continuing their road trip on Sunday September 26^th at 2 pm for a matchup with the Lady Choctaws of Mississippi College.
