MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Shorter Hawks men's lacrosse team (2-10) ended its season after falling 20-4 to the University of Montevallo Falcons (9-4) on Wednesday evening in a Peach Belt Conference (PBC) tournament game at Montevallo.
Three Hawks scored on the day, including Jaden Sealey who scored twice and Kaleb Roehn and Jacob Woodard who both scored once.
Montevallo scored the first five goals of the game, including two each from Ryan Shea and Thomas Vaesen and one from Jackson Klewchuk, before Jaden Sealey scored the first goal of the game for the Hawks with less than two minutes to go in the first quarter. He was assisted by Kaleb Roehn.
Jaden Sealey scored his second goal of the day for Shorter in the second quarter. Montevallo scored seven more times in the quarter to make the score 12-2 Montevallo at the half.
Kaleb Roehn and Jacob Woodard scored the final two goals of the game for the Hawks in the second half. Woodard was assisted by Trey Edge. The Falcons scored eight more times in the half.
