CLEVELAND, Tenn.—The Shorter softball team struggled to get their bats going against Lee in the final game of the series on Sunday. The Flames came out with the bats on fire with a final score of 19-1.
The Hawks fall to 4-27 overall and 0-21 in GSC while the Flames improve to 13-16 and 10-11 GSC.
The Hawks had a total of three hits while the Flames recorded 16 hits with six doubles and five homeruns.
Sydney Poston,
Kiera Dudley and
Anslee Anderson all added in one hit.
Shorter will travel to University of Alabama-Huntsville for a conference series on Saturday, April 17 with games slated for 2 and 4p.m.
