MONTEVALLO, Ala.- After a thrilling win Friday night against the Lady Tigers, the Lady Hawks stayed in Montevallo for a matchup with the Lady Falcons Saturday afternoon. The undefeated Lady Falcons swept the Lady Hawks in straight sets.
Shorter struggled to keep pace in the first set and lost 16-25, but the Lady Hawks made it competitive in the second set (25-27). The Lady Hawks gave everything they had to keep the second set competitive and eventually ran out of gas in the third set (13-25).
Lacee Glover led the team with 11 kills followed by
Katherine Patrick who had six.
Jade Smith had four kills and led the team with two blocks.Â
Annie Smith led the team in digs and assists with 13 and 19 respectively.Â
