CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Lady Hawks fell 89-57 against the Lee University Lady Flames on Saturday at Lee. Shorter fell to 2-12 on the season while Lee improved to 8-5.

The Lady Hawks were down 48-24 at the half and could never bounce back from that deficit.

Jasmine Gaines led the way for the Lady Hawks with 22 points and 5 rebounds while Chatham Brown scored 12 points and had 11 rebounds. Ansley Barge contributed 8 points and had 6 rebounds for Shorter.

Hannah Garrett scored 20 points for Lee. Haley Schubert scored 17 points and had 6 rebounds while Halle Hughes scored 10 points.

The Lady Hawks will be back in action on Tuesday, February 16 against Auburn University Montgomery with a 6 p.m. tip-off in the Winthrop-King Centre.
