HUNTSVILLE, Ala.- The Lady Hawks traveled to Huntsville to participate in the Charger Chillout Tournament this weekend. Shorter lost their first game to Harding University 5-0.
However, the Lady Hawks rebounded in their next game against Miles College where they won 10-6. Shorter had four hits in the first game but 12 hits in their second game.
Kiera Dudley led the Lady Hawks against the Lady Bears with three RBIs.

Sydney Poston followed with two RBIs. Shorter scored four runs in the fifth and sixth innings and were leading Miles College 9-2 after the sixth inning.
Madison Pettigrew pitched a solid 5.1 innings and picked up her first collegiate win.
The Lady Hawks will be back in action tomorrow for day two of the Charger Chillout Tournament against Kentucky Wesleyan College at 3 pm and Delta State at 5 pm.
