CARROLLTON, Ga- The Hawks were on the road for their last matchup against the Wolves this season. The Wolves beat the Hawks 96-75 Saturday afternoon. The Hawks fall to 4-11 while the Wolves improve to 10-6.
West Georgia started hot out of the gate with a 5-0 scoring run and never looked back. The Hawks were outscored in the first half 23-54 but then outscored the Wolves in the second half 52-42. West Georgia held a double-digit lead on Shorter from 10:44 in the first half until the end of the game.Â
The Hawks were led by
Kelan Walker who had 19 points, five assists, and six rebounds.
Mark Wilcox Jr. finished with 17 points and three rebounds.
Jaden Dunham also had four points and five rebounds in this game.Â
The Hawks will be back in action at home for the final series of the season against Montevallo. The first game will be played February 26th at 6pm.
