Lady Hawks Burned by #1 Lady Flames in Season Finale

CLEVELAND, Tenn.- The Lady Hawks were on the road for their final game of the 2021 season in Cleveland, Tennessee for a matchup with the #1 Lady Flames of Lee University. The Lady Flames' offense was too much for the Lady Hawks to handle as the Lady Flames scored five goals to win this game.

The first goal was scored in the 9th minute by Riley Henry with an assist from Ellie Crisler. Riley Henry also scored the second goal for the Lady Flames in the 25th minute with assists from Ellie Crisler and Nora Burton. The third goal was sored by Kassidy Kellett in the 44th minute. Kate Dirkse scored the fourth goal in 54th minute with an assist from Riley Henry. Ruth Edrington scored her first goal of the season in the 77th minute with assists from Sage Sammeli and Regan Henkey.

Aisling Cumming recorded the only shot for the Lady Hawks in this game. Goalkeeper Katherine Fisher recorded 10 saves against the Lady Flames. The Lady Hawks finished the 2021 season with a 2-14 record. Erin Carter and Danielle Forsythe led the team with two goals and five points each this season. Erin Carter and Juliana Torres also led the team in shots with 20 and 12 respectively. Goalkeepers Katherin Fisher and Emily Lopez recorded 63 and 44 saves respectively this season.
