MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Lady Hawks (17-14) defeated the Christian Brothers University (CBU) Lady Buccaneers (3-28) 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at CBU.
The Lady Hawks defeated the Lady Buccaneers 26-24 in the first set, 25-18 in the second set and 25-19 in the third set.
Casey Raschen had eight kills for Shorter while
Lacee Glover had seven and
Carrington Terrell had six. Terrell also had five blocks while
Annie Smith had 15 assists.
Madison Sprosty added in 18 digs, and Glover added in 12.
As a team, the Lady Hawks had 39 kills, five aces, nine blocks, 32 assists and 51 digs.
CBU overall had 32 kills, four aces, one block, 31 assists and 53 digs.
