Pensacola, Fla.- The Hawks played the Argonauts in Pensacola for the second and final game of the weekend series.  After losing 101-65 the night before, the Hawks looked to rebound against the Argonauts.  Sadly, the Hawks lost 88-71 Saturday afternoon and were swept by West Florida.

Ja'Cori Wilson and Charles Botchway led the team with 13 points each.  Charles Botchway also led the team with nine assists.  Mark Wilcox Jr. led the team with 12 rebounds.  The Hawks outrebounded the Argonauts 44 to 41.  The Shorter bench played well and scored 30 of the Hawks 71 points.  The Hawks were very physical and outscored West Florida in the paint, 38-28.

While the Argonauts did not score as many points as they had the previous night, West Florida took control from the beginning of the game with a 14-0 scoring run and the Hawks were unable to close the gap.  Brett Carter Jr. led the Argonauts with 18 points followed by Wendell Matthews with 17 points.

The Hawks will be back in action on Tuesday, February 2^nd on the road against Montevallo at 7 pm.
