Lady Hawks Fall Short to KSU Owls

Box Score Kennesaw, GA—The Shorter Women's Basketball team, who are are now 1-20 and 1-14 in the GSC, were back on the road and took on Kennesaw State University, who are 11-11 and 4-6 in ASUN.

Jasmine Gaines led the team scoring 24 points and 4 assists. Tatum Ragsdale followed with 13 points and Mekala Fuller with 11 points. Jasmine Gaines and Briana Burnett ended the game with 5 rebounds each against KSU.

The Lady Hawks were not far behind ending the first quarter trailing 22-16 behind the Owls. Throughout the game the Lady Hawks were playing catch up with the Owls and in the end favored KSU with a 94-55 score. The Lady Hawks led in Free Throw percentage with 88.2% with KSU at 80.8%.

The Shorter Women's Basketball team competes against Auburn Montgomery University on Thursday February 13th at 5:00PM at the Winthrop King Center in Rome, GA .
