Valdosta, GA- The Lady Hawks (1-17, 1-12 GSC) were back on the road to face the Lady Blazers (14-6, 6-6 GSC). This game was pushed back a day because the power went out on Valdosta State's campus.
Jasmine Gaines led the team in scoring with 29 points and in rebounds with 10 rebounds, which results in a double-double. Mekala Fuller and
Tatum Ragsdale followed with 16 points each.Â
Christian Bolden also finished with 6 rebounds against the Lady Blazers defense.
The Lady Hawks sadly trailed in the first three quarters; 17-20, 9-33, and 25-26. They did lead in the 4
th quarter, 23-15, but it was too little too late. The Lady Hawks led the Lady Blazers in free throw percentage, 76.2 to 75. The Lady Hawks scored 13 points off 14 turnovers the Lady Blazers committed.
The Lady Hawks are continuing their road trip on Saturday February 8
