Valdosta, GA- The Hawks (3-18, 0-13 GSC) were back on the road for a matchup against the Valdosta State Blazers (16-3, 10-2 GSC). This game was pushed back a day because the power went out on Valdosta State's campus.
Ja'Cori Wilson led the team in scoring with 24 points and in rebounds with 18, which results in a double-double.Â
Jay Shropshire also finished with 13 points.Â
Joe Russell finished with 6 rebounds of his own.
The Hawks scored 17 points off the 12 turnovers that the Blazers committed. The Hawks also scored 32 points in the paint and the bench scored 19 points against the Blazers defense. Sadly, the Hawks never led and trailed in both halves; 41-57 and 42-61.
