Felix Guijosa in the 5th minute as the  the Shorter Hawks (4-1) stormed past the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern University 7-0 Saturday afternoon at Ben Brady Field. Â

Thallison Alex scored his first of two goals 5 minutes later from a
Seth Calero pass. Â
Bailey Lopez's goal in the 40th minute set up by
Jason Ortega gave the Blue and White a 3-0 half time lead and command of the game. Â

Alex then scored his 5th goal of the season from a
Zach Wyborn cross to make it 4-0 in the 69th minute.
Jackson Wheatley then struck for his team leading 7th goal on a header from another Wyborn cross.

Sergio Vasquez then notched his second goal of the season with a quick shot from 20 yards out. Â Junior defender
Luke Wheeldon rounded out the scoring recording his first collegiate goal for the Hawks with just 4 minutes remaining.Â
