ROME, Ga. – When Shorter (0-2, 0-0) hit the road for Nashville, they looked to pick up their first victory of the season over Trevecca Nazarene (3-1, 0-0). Their plans were derailed and the Hawks fell 79-54 to the Trojans.
Leading the way with a double-double,
Tatum Ragsdale pulled down ten rebounds to go along with 13 points.
Emma Reynolds was the only other Hawk to score in double-figures, dropping ten points off the bench. Ragsdale and Reynolds both connected on a pair of triples to boost the scoring.
Each scoring seven points, Mekala Fuller,
Christian Bolden,
Tamya Windom, and
Kayla Holmes all did their part to try and get the offense going. Shorter only tallied two assists in the action with both being dished out by Fuller.
Once again, the Hawks struggled shooting the basketball throughout the contest. On the afternoon, the team shot just 27.5% from the floor.
