Montgomery, Ala. --Â The Lady Hawks fell to Auburn Montgomery 8-1, Wednesday afternoon on the road to start Gulf South Conference play.
With the loss, Shorter moves to 2-2 on the season and 0-1 in the GSC; while the Warhawks move to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
The Lady Hawks lone win of the match came at number one singles as
Aleksandra Durzynski tallied her fourth win of the season – 6-4, 6-3.
Shorter's women are back in action Saturday from the Walt Attaway Tennis Center, hosting Christian Brothers in GSC play.
