ROME--Saturday, April 19, will mark the culmination of four player's careers as members of the Men's Lacrosse team at Shorter University. Seniors – Ryan Baird, Kyle Morris and Kyle VanKauwenberg – along with junior, Brandon Weise, will each don the Hawks uniform for the final time as Shorter takes on Ohio Valley at noon at Ben Brady Field.

The three seniors were all members of the Hawks' first recruiting class, and part of the very first lacrosse team at Shorter; forever linking them to Shorter Athletics' rich history.

Handlebar mustaches have become a huge part of the senior's wardrobe this season, and Saturday will be no different as many of the players and coaches will be sporting mustaches as a fitting sendoff for the class that has laid a foundation for what is to come for Shorter Men's Lacrosse.

The game is set to begin at 12:00pm at Ben Brady Field, with the Hawks taking on Ohio Valley University; which they defeated on the road last season, 15-13. The Hawks enter the game with a 6-7 record, while the Fighting Scots come to Rome at 2-12.

Pre-game festivities will begin approximately five minutes before face-off.
