MEMPHIS--Despite
Jordan Jacks' 7th double-double of the season, the Hawks came up short, 69-58, on the road at Christian Brothers Saturday afternoon.
The loss drops the Hawks to 4-6 on the season and 1-3 in conference play.
With 13:31 to play in the first half, Shorter took the lead on a layup from Jacks, to make it an 8-6 game. But, CBU answered with 8:15 to play to tie the game, 15-15, and took the lead for good a minute later.
Jacks finished the game with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Dedric Ware scored 20 points to lead the Hawks.
Shorter will be back in action, Monday, January 6, as they finish up the road trip with a match up against Delta State; game time is set for 5pm eastern.
