At the half, the Lady Hawks held the advantage in shots by an 11-2 margin. However, Gabie Chamberland, the Converse goalie, was able to keep her team in the game by making six saves during the first 45 minutes.

Shorter scored twice more in the second half. The first was on a goal from Kelli Davis at the 60:54 mark, with Helena Farinha recording the assist. Carleigh Butcher netted the final goal for the Lady Hawks with just over four minutes to play to give the Lady Hawks the 3-0 victory.

In the second period, Shorter added nine shots to their total to finish the game with a total of 20.
