Shorter University Athletics

Josiah Johnson enters his first season as a graduate assistant with the Shorter Football program. Johnson works primarily with the Hawks' wide receivers while also serving as the team's film coordinator.
 

Johnson spent four seasons as a member of the Shorter Football program, playing on the defensive line. He saw significant action during his final season with the Hawks in 2025.
 

A native of Newnan, Georgia, Johnson attended Trinity Christian School, where he helped the program capture back-to-back state championships. He also earned All-County honors during his high school career.
