Entering his first year as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Shorter University, Austin Savage brings a rich background in sports management and coaching. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Pensacola Christian College in 2022 and recently completed his Master’s in Business Administration at Shorter University in 2024.

Savage has accumulated valuable coaching experience over the past few years, including serving as a Graduate Assistant at Shorter University and leading the JV team as Head Coach for a year. Additionally, he has been actively involved in numerous basketball camps throughout the South, showcasing his dedication to the development of young athletes.

With strong ties to his Michigan roots and a close connection to Pensacola through his sister, Austin Savage is a family-oriented individual who balances his professional commitments with quality family time. His diverse coaching background and educational achievements make him a valuable asset to the Shorter University Men's Basketball program, where he is eager to contribute to the team's success in the upcoming season.
