Allen Huntley

Allen Huntley is in his first season as a graduate assistant for the Hawks, but the native of Atlanta is no stranger to the Shorter program. He finished his career as one of the most decorated student-athletes in team history, earning several All-American awards, as well as running as a member of all three of the men's national championship teams.

Huntley was a consistent scorer in the sprintsfor the Hawks, particularly over each of his last three seasons in a Shorter uniform. He was a national finalist in the 100 meter dash during the 2011-13 seasons, and served as the lead-off leg in Shorter's record setting and national champion 4x100 meter relay. As a testament to his running ability, he also ran on the team's first national championship relay, the distance medley (2011).

He made a mark on the record books as well. Huntley finished his career fourth on the school's all-time outdoor 200 meter dash performance list. He put together a career-best run of 21.02 at the NCCAA National Championships, his final championship meet as a Hawk. He was the Peach Belt's runner-up in the event at the outdoor championship meet in April.

He earned his undergraduate degree in sport management from Shorter in December of 2012. He is currently enrolled in the school's MBA graduate program and is expected to complete coursework in May of 2014.
