Jessi Bruce (formerly Tinsley) enters her first year with the Hawks in the 2025- 2026 season where she will serve as the pitching coach. Previously, she was an assistant coach at Johnson University from 2021- 2023 and Kentucky Christian University from 2020-2021, where she oversaw pitching and player development within both programs. She was a graduate assistant coach at Williams Woods University for the 2019- 2020 season, earning her Master of Business Administration. Jessi also has a Master of Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University.

Jessi attended Darton State Community College for one year and then transferred to Cincinnati Christian University, graduating with her Bachelor of Business Administration in 2019.

During her time at Cincinnati Christian, Jessi logged 59 starts, 81 appearances, and 354.2 innings pitched. She recorded 264 strikeouts and holds the school record for most strike outs in a game (13). In her senior season, she finished with an ERA of 2.73 and was selected to the NCCAA Mid-West Region Team and the NCCAA All-Tournament Team.

For the past four years, Jessi has been the head coach and manager for the TN Fury Platinum Bruce 18U travel team.

Originally from Albany, GA, Jessi and her husband, Ryan, now reside in Dalton, GA.
