Shorter University Athletics

Albert Huntley is in his second year as the Head Track and Field Coach at Shorter University. Huntley holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Exercise Science and a Master’s in Business Administration, providing a strong foundation for his coaching career.

With six years at Shorter University, including two as head coach, Huntley has significantly impacted the track and field program. His professional experience in both football and track and field adds a unique perspective and depth of knowledge to his coaching approach.

Huntley's personal athletic achievements are remarkable. He is a four-time national champion and the 2014 NAIA National Champion in the 100-meter. Additionally, he earned seven NCAA Division II All-American honors and has coached 22 conference champions and 46 All-Conference athletes, demonstrating his ability to foster excellence in his athletes.

Albert Huntley is supported by his wife, Chloe, and their three children: Skylar, Bryson, and Peyton.
