Prior to Shorter University:
Transferring in from Kennesaw State University, where he was a part of the 2 time defending Atlantic-Sun Conference Indoor Champions, and the 2013 Outdoor Conference Champions. Individually, he placed 7th in the steeplechase. State champion in the 2 mile as a senior in high school.
