MOBILE, Ala. – The Shorter Men's tennis team fell to Spring Hill College Friday afternoon in a 5-2 defeat.
 

The Hawks battled in doubles play to open the match, earning wins from the No. 1 pairing of Baley Liu and Guido Loayza as well as the No. 2 duo of Carlos Tubio and Agustin Yap to secure the doubles point and take an early lead.
 

Georgios Tsioumas added the lone singles victory for Shorter with a win at the No. 3 position. Despite continued effort throughout the remainder of singles competition, the Hawks would drop the final five matches as Spring Hill secured the 5-2 victory.
