HUNTSVILLE, Al.- The Lady Hawks traveled to Huntsville for a conference matchup with the Lady Chargers from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. After scoring 11 goals in the first quarter, the Lady Chargers never surrendered the lead and won the game 15-4.
The Lady Chargers scored 11 unanswered goals in the first quarter, 11-0.
Olivia Masters scored the first goal for Shorter with 13:44 remaining in the first half, 11-1. Two minutes later,
Ansley Barge scored for the Lady Hawks, 11-2. The Lady Chargers scored another goal and went into the break with a 12-2 lead. UAH scored another goal to start the third quarter, 13-2.
Cat Bloedow scored with an assist from
Ansley Barge with 9:38 left in the third quarter, 13-3.
Maria Hansen scored the last goal for the Lady Hawks with 11:44 left in the game, 13-4. The Lady Chargers tacked on two more goals to win the game 15-4.

Ansley Barge recorded the only assist for the Lady Hawks.
Olivia Masters led the team with three shots on goal followed by

Maria Hansen who each recorded two.
The Lady Hawks will be back at home Saturday April 9
th at 4 PM for a matchup with the Lady Skyhawks of Point University.
