MONTGOMERY,Ala—The Shorter Softball team finished up their season on Saturday with one game against Auburn University at Montgomery. As AUM won 10-2.
 
The Lady Hawks finished the season with an overall record of 6-44 and 2-27 in the GSC.
 
The Lady Hawks came out to score the first run of the game in the top of the first when Angela Cecere stole second and Hannah Morales stole home on a throwing error from the catcher. With déjà vu in the top of third, Morales stole second and Alexis Sewell advanced home on a throwing error from the catcher, 2-0. The Lady Warhawks got a rally going in the bottom of the third with a total of eight runs scored, 8-2. AUM tacked on two more runs with one in the fourth and one in the sixth, 10-2.

Shorter recorded a total of four hits. Cecere led the Lady Hawks by going 2-3 at the plate. Alexis Sewell and Morales had one hit each.
