ROME,Ga.— The Lady Hawks fell to Mississippi College in an 0-3 series. After the series Shorter ends with a 2-14 record and 1-8 in the GSC, while Mississippi College improves to 15-7 and 6-3 in GSC.

The Choctaws outhit the Hawks eleven to three. Tiffany Watson, Ashley Langel and Paytn Cripps each had one hit. Shellby Young took the loss in the circle and MC's Hannah Creel recorded the win.
Sunday
MC 6, Shorter 0
In another outing where the Choctaws outhit the Hawks eleven to three. Sydney Poston led the team with two hits and Cripps added in one hit. Courtney Pinkston took the loss while Avery Barnett for the Choctaws took the win.
MC 12, Shorter 3
The Hawks had a total of three hits by Lindsay Newell, Angela Cecere and Cripps. In the bottom of the first Newell hit a single that scored Cripps. In the bottom of the fifth the Hawks attempted to rally together to score enough before the run rule came into effect but ended up unsuccessful. Cecere walked into home and then Newell reached on a fielders choice which scored Cripps. Hannah Creel took the win in the circle for the Choctaws.

The Hawks will travel to Georgia Southwestern State for a midweek non-conference match up on Tuesday with games times slated for 3p.m. and 5p.m.
