CLEVELAND, TN | Lee University hosted the Hawks in a conference tennis match. While Shorter gave close competition in the first set of the doubles match putting up three points, this would not be enough to complete the set with a win. The first set went 3-4 led by Melinda Churn and Anastasia Jovicic, the second set was 0-6, and last 1-6.

For the singles, the Hawks struggled putting points on the score. The closest Hawk to victory was Alana Mulkey who played 1-6, and 3-6 in her second set. Anaelle Marchand played 2-6 in both matches against her Lee opponent.

The final score was 0-7 for the Hawks. Shorter will host Emmanuel College for a home match Wednesday, March 27th at 2:00 PM. Come support the Hawks at home as they look to defeat the Lions!
