Huntsville, Ala. -- The Lady Hawks fell to Alabama Huntsville, 9-0, Friday afternoon on the road.

With the loss, Shorter moves to 3-5 overall and 1-4 in the GSC; while the Chargers improve to 6-5 on the season and 4-4 in conference play.

After falling behind 3-0 after doubles, the Lady Hawks needed to win all five of its singles matches to earn the win but weren't able to mount a comeback as UAH swept singles play as well.

Both, Aleksandra Durzynski at number one and Anastasia Jovicic at number three needed three sets. With Durzynski falling 2-6, 6-4, 3-10; while Jovicic fell 4-6, 6-3, 10-12.

The Lady Hawks will be back in action Saturday afternoon at North Alabama and will return home to take on Montevallo on March 28.
