Huntsville, Ala. -- The Hawks fell to Alabama Huntsville 8-1 Friday afternoon.

With the loss, Shorter moves to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in the GSC; while the Chargers improve to 5-9 on the season and 3-5 in conference play.

The Hawks lone win of the afternoon came at number one singles as Jose Moreno-Manzano tallied a 6-1, 6-0 win. Gregoire Vincent's singles matchup at number four went to three sets and before Noah Pring claimed the 7-6, 0-6, 5-10 win.

Shorter will remain on the road with a stop at North Alabama Saturday before returning home to take on Montevallo on March 28.
