The Shorter Hawks Spirit Program is always searching for male and female student athletes with impressive GPAs and exceptional skills. We are proud to offer over
$200,000 in cheerleading scholarship money, as well as a fully funded cheer program though the Shorter University Athletics Department. We are not a "club" team; our Spirit Program is considered one of over 20 Varsity sports on campus.

In addition to our impressive competitive record, we have an amazing sideline program, too! All cheerleaders also receive perks such as free practice clothing, free cheer shoes, free travel costs, free travel meals, free competition and camp registration.

Our sideline and competition cheerleaders cheer all home football games (see 2017-18 football schedule) and all home men's and women's basketball games when school is in session. Our competition Cheer Hawks compete at NCA College camp in Myrtle Beach, SC, and finish the season at NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL.
