Elizabeth Dowd earned the Lady Hawks only All-Conference selection the Gulf South Conference announced Monday morning; receiving 1st Team honors for the second straight year.

Dowd, a junior from Dothan, Ala. received the recognition from the conference coaches after helping the Lady Hawks to a 16-10 overall mark and a 14-6 conference record. In 95 sets for Shorter during the regular season, Dowd tallied a team high 275 kills, with 15 assists and 23 service aces. While also turning in the second most digs on the team with 325, and posting 42 blocks – 3 solo, 39 assisted.
