Men’s Tennis shuts down Loyola, 9-0

ROME – The No. 10 Shorter University men's tennis team visited Loyola University Sunday, taking a persuading victory of 9-0, securing their sixth win of the season and second in conference play.

Double players, Florain Etienne and Romain Ferriera, took aim for the Wolfpack in the No. 1 doubles position, garnering a victory of 8-0 after faultless play.

Cody Carr rounded out the singles players in the No. 6 position grabbing a win for the Hawks in a 6-1, 6-1 victory against Joshua Washington.

Carr also took a victory with doubles partner, Colt Kelley, in an 8-3 finish, with Carr supplying two wins to Shorter to garner a 9-0 shutout.

The Hawks next take the court March 6 when they host Georgia Southwestern. Match time is set for 2pm.
