Justyna Mudy to be featured on Southern States Showcase

NORCROSS, Ga. - Shorter University four-time national champion Justyna Mudy will be featured on the latest episode of the Southern States Showcase which is set to air tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. on SportSouth, Comcast Cable channel 74, DirecTV channel 649 and DISH Network channel 437.

The Southern States Showcase, which highlights the Southern States Athletic Conference and its member institutions, will spotlight Mudy, the defending NAIA cross country national champion and defending NAIA national champion in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 5,000-meter run.

The show will track Mudy's route to Shorter while also highlighting her record-setting athletic career on the Hill.

Mudy will have a chance to add to her trophy collection this Saturday, Nov. 20 as she competes in the 2010 NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championship along with teammates Sarah Massey and Shea Spicher.

Encore presentations of tonight's show will air on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and on Sunday morning at 11 a.m.
